X-Men Angel Costume and Actor Revealed

Information on the new Angel in the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse has been released. Ben Hardy is set to play the characters, and apparently, his only notable acting credit for a long running BBC soap opera, EastEnders. Other than that, this is his first starring role. As expected with an Apocalypse story, Angel is going to be turned into Arcangel, one of Apocalypse's Horsemen, and the concept art below shows us what he is going to look like. On a side note, I suppose the series is disregarding the previous X-Men films' timeline entirely since the character was featured in X-Men 3: The Last Stand and he would be far too young for a mid-80s set film. It really does not matter since that movie was mediocre anyway. What do you think of Arcangel's look? Please comment below and let me know.

  2. not a fan of the hair.....whats with that? but cool costume.
but an interesting look. tbh I am not a fan of Angel....mostly because he breaks up my OTP in the Ultimate comics. smh. still bitter about that. but we'll see. maybe the movies will change my opinion of him.

  3. The first Apocalypse tale (from X-factor comic) is a classic. Unfortunately, much of that rests on us knowing Angel and investing in what happens to him when his wings are ripped off and Apocalypse offers him new ones if he'll serve as a Horseman. As Angel has only appeared for about 10 minutes and as it looks as if they're rebooting him anyways, that will be lost. Still, it looks cool. I'm sure the timeline changing malarkey from Days of Future Past is being used as an explanation for all discrepancies, including Angel's parents getting jiggy 20 years too early!!

  4. I figure the timeline erasures of DOFP will be used to explain the difference. I do like Angel -- he was one of the original X-Men in the comics, and I quite liked him in those.

  5. In order to promote the value of education Marvel have released series like "Math Land". Based on comic xmen characters list, this screen adaptation teaches children basic math skills in a narrative format.
