The Avengers Assemble Today!
It has been four years in the making and it is finally here!
Although I have avoided watching and reading most reviews, I have seen various scores for the movie. Below are some scores from various movie reviewers and my thoughts about each movie reviewer.
Chris Stuckmann: A+: Chris Stuckmann is by far my favorite professional movie reviewer. I do not always agree with his reviews but they are consistent and mostly spoiler free. This is the first newly released movie that he has given an A+ rating.
Jeremy Jahns: Awesometacular: He is possibly the most famous YouTube reviewer. His rating of "Awesometacular" is basically a 5 Star rating, must see movie. Although I am not a fan of his reviews since he does tend to cuss during some of them.
Rotten Tomatoes: 93%: Rotten Tomatoes takes the reviews of hundreds of different critics and on basis of if the movie is "Fresh" (above average) or not Rotten (below average). That means that 93% of the over 100 critics thought the movie was Fresh. Although the critics that gave The Avengers the "Rotten" rating also gave movies like Twilight and Green Lantern (it is considered terrible by most critics) a "Fresh", therefore their rating are also invalid.
IGN: 4 1/2 of 5 Stars: IGN.com is one of the biggest movie review websites. The Avengers received the highest score for an action movie since Inception.
Move Blog TV: 10/10: He rarely rates movies 10/10 but he said this was the most entertainment he has ever had at the movie theater.
Schmoes Know: 5/5: The Schmoes are another one of YouTube's most popular movie reviewers and this is one of the few 5/5 rating they have given a movie.
Richard Roeper: A: Richard Roeper is one of those stuck up critics who only seem to care about Oscar type movies and he even gave it an A.

Looks like it will be an awesome movie! Especially if the picky-ist critics gave it very high ratings. Can't wait to see it once I get caught up watching the previous films.

Ok, ok, I give up and I'm going with my friends as soon as they call me. Thor's got the perfect line for those glum critics: "You people are so petty. And tiny." :D

@Jamie: I was even surprised by how well it has been received by critics. I expected that there would be some high ratings but nothing as great as this. :D
