Now you might be wondering what I mean by "Not Quite" Film Score. This time thee music is not from a film but from a video game, but it no less epic. Video Games do not get the respect for their often times great story and music but here are some of the best. Please cooment and tell me if you like the music.
Not only is Skyrim one of the greatest games of all time, it has one of the best soundtracks ever. Even compared to many movies. The Elder Scrolls video game series is the best fantasy world since Lord of the Rings, if there was a movie made from Skyrim and it was done right, it would be one of the best fantasy movies ever.
Halo is an epic War Sci-Fi and this soundtrack perfectly fits the epicness of it.
The Legend of Zelda is an fantasy adventure and the soundtrack has a very adventure feel to the soundtrack.

Gears of War is another War Sci-Fi shooter but it is very dark, gritty, and violent. The soundtrack is perfect at adding to the overall sense of we are going to make it aginst all odds.

I adore soundtracks, movie, tv show, video game and otherwise. I've definitely found a few new tracks to add to my writing playlist... Thanks for posting these!

Skyrim was cool, Halo rocked, and Gears was also great. But Doesn't Zelda deserve better? Do the specific Zelda vehicle games sound better than the Smash Bros. theme?
