Tron 3 Title Revealed!

Tron 3, the sequel to Tron: Legacy, title has been revealed to be Tron: Ascension. As of now, Garrett Hedlund, who played Flynn in Tron: Legacy, is the only actor officially cast in the film, and filming is scheduled to wrap up around February of next year. While Legacy was no groundbreaking film, it was a ton of fun, and the visual style was great, so I am looking forward to this new Tron sequel. Joseph Kosinski is set to return to direct Ascension, and aside from being a sequel, we know nothing of the plot. However, if Daft Punk is not returning to score the film, I will be significantly less excited. Regardless, I am looking forward to this new Tron film, are you? Please comment below and let me know.

  2. I don't know what to think. I saw Tron: Legacy and was rather disappointed. The visuals were cool, but it seemed like to much CGI and to little story. I really hope this sequel turns out to be amazing.

  3. If they keep a lot of the things from Tron:Legacy (actors, actresses, Daft Punk, IMAX 3D, etc.) this will be epic.

Legacy is an incredibly underrated and often inaccurately-hated film in my eyes. I thought it was incredible.

  4. Sounds like it'd be a good title no doubt, I should start watching all of the two TRON movies if the third instalment is finished.

Tron: Legacy was my favorite movie through all of middleschool xD it was Pacific Rim for pre-teen me
I had given up hope that there would be another, since i hadn't heard any news. I am so excited!

I hope Daft Punk does the score again, since the first one is probably one of my absolute favorite film scores. I'm super excited to see the effects, since CGI and general filming has changed so much in the past few years. I'm totally going to go see it!

    1. If Daft Punk does not score the film, it just won't be the same will it?
