Over the past week, there has been a ton of exciting Star Wars set photos leaked! The most exciting set photo is the Millennium Falcon, which you can see below, as well as a lot of photos from the Abu Dhabi set. Obviously, the scenes filmed in Abu Dhabi are going to be Tatooine in the film. Also, there is one of an X-Wing and a large creature.
If Abrams and company are using practical effects and puppetry for a creature that large, we might be in for a real old school treat!
In response to the numerous set photos that have been leaked, Abrams Tweeted the following picture.
If you cannot read the note, here is what it says: "I wish people would stop leaking photos from Episode VII. And making ridiculous claims that the Millennium Falcon is in the movie." Of course Abrams has a good sense of humor. Fortunately, the sets pictures have not spoiled anything important, but rather have risen my expectations even more that Episode VII could be the generation defining film that the Original Trilogy was. What do you think of these set pictures? Please comment below and check back later for more Episode VII news.

I hope none of these are photo shopped because they look awesome!

I appreciate that J.J. likes to keep things under his hat, but I also love getting little sneak peeks like these! How else are we supposed to get properly excited? :D Good thing he has a sense of humor!
ReplyDeleteCan't agree more! These are making me so excited

I may be the ONLY person not excited about more Star War films. As far as I'm concerned, the story is over: Empire defeated, Anakin redeemed, Leia and Han together. Really, what more is there to add?
ReplyDeleteReally? There is so much more that can be told in Star Wars Universe.
