Avengers Sequel Revealed! And Posting Schedule.

The sequel to The Avengers has been officially named "Avengers: Age of Ultron"! Wow, that is extremely surprising because I expected the next villain to be Thanos since he was in the after credit scene. However, it appears the film will be loosely based on the "Age of Ultron," which I have yet to read. In the comics, Ultron was created by Hank Pym, aka Ant-Man, who will be getting a film in the fall of 2015, and the robot turned on Hank and became one of the Avengers' most powerful foes. Ultron has an army of Ultron soldiers and Ultron himself is made out of some of the strongest material in the Marvel Universe. This is an odd choice for the second film in The Avengers series because the movie would have to introduce both Ultron and Ant-Man into the story, it would make more sense if Thanos was the main villain after making an appearance in Guardians of the Galaxy. 1. My first thought after reading all the press releases is that Thanos will be the boss fight of Avengers 3, after possibly manipulating Ultron the way he did with Loki? It sounds exciting, but the release date of 2015 doesn't leave much time to lead up to it. Ant-man cameo in Winter Soldier possible?

    1. I was thinking that he could appear in Winter Soldier also, although the film has wrapped up filming and it would be a limited after credits cameo probably.

    2. They're now saying, from Wheedon himself, that Ant-man is not involved and Ultron is going to be JARVIS's fault. How does that feel?

    3. I heard about that too, it would make sense that Iron Man is the creator of Ultron since Tony usually makes robots. I am not adverse to the idea, it has already been done to a degree is one of the alter verses.

  4. Wow! that's not the villain I would have imagined for Avengers 2! So I guess Ant-Man will be in the next Avengers movie?! I don't know much about him!

    1. I have other possible theories about how Ultron and Ant-Man will be created and introduced. I probably need to write something about Ant-Man as well.

  5. I think it would be cool if more Avengers are added to the team in Avengers 2, like maybe Spider-Man. I was actually more excited about Thor 2: The Dark World especially with Loki's little "publicity stunt" :)

    1. It would be cool if Spider-Man was added to the team, although Sony owns Spider-Man so there are some legal problems preventing it unfortunately. Oh yeah, Loki's was great at Comic-Con. "KNEEL!!!"

    2. Yes, exactly -- as long as Joss is at the helm, we know he'll make it all work.
