The sequel to The Avengers has been officially named "Avengers: Age of Ultron"! Wow, that is extremely surprising because I expected the next villain to be Thanos since he was in the after credit scene. However, it appears the film will be loosely based on the "Age of Ultron," which I have yet to read. In the comics, Ultron was created by Hank Pym, aka Ant-Man, who will be getting a film in the fall of 2015, and the robot turned on Hank and became one of the Avengers' most powerful foes. Ultron has an army of Ultron soldiers and Ultron himself is made out of some of the strongest material in the Marvel Universe. This is an odd choice for the second film in The Avengers series because the movie would have to introduce both Ultron and Ant-Man into the story, it would make more sense if Thanos was the main villain after making an appearance in Guardians of the Galaxy.
