The Dark Knight Plot Hole.

This is something that I have been wanting to bring up for a while but I want to emphasize that it does not effect my opinion of such a great movie and I am not trying to criticize it because that will just lead to hate comments. The Dark Knight is one of my favorite movies, I gave it a staggering 9.7/10 in my review. Also warning spoilers if you have not seen The Dark Knight.
If you watch the video above you will notice at the very end after Batman saves Rachel from a huge fall, it then cuts to Gordon in the Gotham PD. So what happened to The Joker in the building? Did he have large helicopter come pick up him and his gang from the roof? Or did not just walk out the way they came in and Batman just stood there? The Joker was in a multi story building and there were only really two or three ways out of the building. Do we assume after The Joker could not find Harvey that he killed everyone in the room and Batman and the cops stood idly by? Or did he hostages to epscape, but that did not stop Batman from trying to save Rachel. If you have an answer to this mystery, please comment below. Also I am going to see The Dark Knight Rises tonight! If I have time, I will post the review tomorrow.

  1. This is a reply to my Doctor Who post, I'm startin' to wonder if it's a good show. I guess a slight love of sci-fi is one thing I inherited from my dad. Is Doctor Who any good? I'm always looking for something to watch on TV and the Brits do know good TV

  2. Well, didn't Batman immediately leap out the window and fall all the way to the ground to save Rachel? Therefore, he couldn't have been up there to stop The Joker, at least not immediately. I assume The Joker must have had a quick get away plan that was too difficult to stop because if there hadn't been, I would have thought Batman would have flown back up to stop him. How The Joker got away is beyond me but it was probably a pretty good way. :)

Kayla and I rewatched Batman Begins last night and we now have a joke about "DC" because we never are left with so many little questions when we're watching a Marvel movie. Kayla kept asking, "But what about this? And what about that?" all through the movie about little things that didn't add up or make sense and I finally told her, "It's DC. It's not like this is a Marvel masterpiece." LOL I have noticed that there are more little plot holes in the Batman movies than I've seen in any of the Avenger films or Spider-Man.

This whole plot hole here in The Dark Knight just might be a "DC" thing. LOL

  3. @Jaggerfan1: Its one of my favorite shows so I think you would like it but the first two seasons were a little cheesy because the budget was low.

@Jamie: That is a good guess, but I really wish it would have showed something. :)
I know, DC does not really explain everything very well all the time. That is hilarious! Lovie it! It should be the new meme. :D
