Video Review: Interstellar Trailer Review

Today I present my first ever video review of a movie trailer, and it my review of the Interstellar trailer. Interstellar is by Christopher Nolan, who is best known for films such as The Dark Knight trilogy and Inception. Interstellar is his first original film since Inception, and it is one of my most anticipated of the year. Today's guest is Jordan Rath from RATH'S REVIEWS, and a special thanks goes to him for coming up with the idea for the trailer review. Please keep in mind that this is our first trailer review, and my editing is not always perfectly timed with what we are saying, and the video quality turned out lower than expected. Next time however, I hope the quality will be improved. Also, if you have not already seen the trailer, you can do so below. Please let me know what you think of this trailer review and if you would like to see more.

  1. Great video, guys!! You saw a lot more in the trailer than I did but I also don't claim to be super observant. :P You kept up a very interesting conversation and I enjoyed listening in!! Thumbs up! :D

As to the trailer itself, while I'm probably not as excited about it as either of you, I found your theories very interesting and I do look forward to seeing the movie now! :D

  2. Great discussion! :) I really enjoyed hearing your thoughts on the trailer and how you think the film is going to go. As a big fan of science fiction, space, and time travel(and since it isn't anything close to my own book series) I'm pretty excited for this film and I hope it will be a good movie.
Regarding that weird sphere, I think it's a worm hole since, from what I've read in astronomy, black holes can't be seen and technically aren't that big(they are huge masses compressed into an itty-bitty size, which is why their gravitational pull it so strong). Interstellar means "situated or occurring between the stars", such as interstellar space(the space between stars) or interstellar medium(the matter- such as dust clouds- in between stars) so I wonder what that will entail for the film. Hopefully it's a good movie, handles it's messages subtly and correctly and does a good job with the time travel explanation.

    1. Thanks! :) I am glad you liked the video review!

After checking the official plot summary, you are right, it is a worm hole. :) Thanks for the info about the science part though. Despite my love of sci-fi, I have never taken astronomy, although I have never been much for science, unless it is computer science. :D But that is very interesting!
