Star Wars Vs Star Trek: Vote Star Wars!

Calling all Star Wars fans, IGN.com is having a poll Star Wars Vs. Star Trek and Star Wars needs your votes! Click here to go to the poll and vote for Star Wars to an end to the debate. I have nothing against Star Trek, it is a great sci-fi franchise and one of the best, but nothing compares to Star Wars. Even if you hate the prequels, Star Trek only wins in the TV series category, but Star Wars is obviously far superior in film, video games and just about any other category. Click here to vote Star Wars! Since Star Trek: Into Darkness is being released later this month, it seemed right to post some Star Trek reviews. Starting Wednesday after my another Top 100 Movies post, I will post my review for the first Star Trek film and later I may write an overview of the franchise.

  4. VOTED STAR WARS I'M A PROUD WARSIE AND I DO NOT MIND SCREAMING ABOUT IT!

    There is no way the Trekies are going to win that poll unless they cheat! LOL

    Star Wars rocks and is very suprerior; I tried watching an episode of Star Trek once and I wanted to go wash my eyes out with soap afterwards. :P

    It's winning too, besides the fact that it is far superior to mere Star Trek. :P

  7. @Daniel: Fascinating, Live long and Prosper. :)

    @Shena Tokala: Yay for Star Wars! :D

    @Alana: Didn't take you for a Trekkie. :) But I won't hold it against you. lol Trek is cool too.

    @Jamie: Yes, we shall win this great battle!

    Since some Trekkies are sure to be hackers, I would not doubt it.

    ROLF, that is the funniest thing I have heard all week! :D

    @Gypsy King: Nope, that at all. Khan is great, although First Contact is my personal favorite.

    @Vellvin: Awesome! :D Indeed. :)

    @Solace Utara: Cannot loose now!

  9. STAR WARS FTW!!!!
    They left out half the movies, though...would have made the chart look better...

  10. @Alana: My father is kind of a Terkkie so I can relate. I think you know this, but I was just joking around, I have nothing against Trekkies at all, because the franchise is very cool. Anyway, thank you for commenting and replying!

    @Padme Arya: I think they wanted to show the best three movies from each franchise.

  12. Fantastic movie. Leaves you "awe". The storyline, a twist of the first Star Trek movie is simply brilliant. After the Batman reboot ( Batman begins & The Dark Knight) , this is good reboot of the old franchise. JJA knows his job. The casting is perfect especially Cummerbatch . He fits in superbly. Anther feather in his cap after playing Sherlock Holmes in "Sherlock" TV series. Worth staying upto 0100 in the morning capping off a satisfying day brilliantly.
