The Avengers Guide Part 1: The Movies.

If you don't already know The Avengers is coming May 2012. It is the most anticipated movie of the summer. This a guide to what you need to do before The Avengers movie. Since The Avengers is not coming until May 2012 there is plenty of time to watch all of the movies connected to The Avengers.

JT/King Valun at The Window on the South  requested that we he wanted to do a pesonality test  Click Here and thake the test. What hero are you please comment. I was Captain America.
Here is The Avengers Trailer.

Here is IGN's Rewind Avengers trailer.

The Movies.
This part is about the movie you need to see and what order you need to see them in and if we have reviewed the movie there we be a link to it below.
Remember to watch after the credits of the movies.
Iron Man

Iron Man is the first piece in The Avengers movie and it sure started out with a bang with arguably the best of the movies leading up to The Avengers (we liked Captain America and Thor better) movie and definitely the best comic book movie at the time it was made and one of the best movies ever made. If you are going to watch The Avengers movie you have to see Iron Man it set the stage for the other movies to follow. Even if you don't like comic book movies you should check out Iron Man.

The Incredible Hulk

The Incredible Hulk was not any were near as good as the other Avengers hero's movies. It was good but not in the same realm of greatness as Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor. Of all of the movies  connected to The Avengers The Incredible Hulk is not as necessary to see like Iron Man, Thor and Captain America are. The actor who played Bruce Banner(Hulk's true identity) Ed Norton is being replaced by Mark Ruffalo so the Hulk movie is not as connected to The Avengers movie as the other movies are. But if you are a huge fan you might still want to check it out.
Iron Man 2

Iron Man 2 sets up The Avenger movie more than any of the other movies do by introducing Nick Fury(Sam L. Jackson with a eye patch) Natalia Romanova aka Black Widow and War Machine who are two very important characters in The Avengers movie. Iron Man 2 was not quite as good as the first Iron Man movie but it was still a awesome movie. While Thor and Captain America were their own individual story Iron Man 2 feels like a prequel to The Avengers movie, which some people didn't like. But if you have watched the Captain America and Thor movies before watching Iron Man 2 there are a lot of hidden secrets you will enjoy like Captain America's shield and Thor's hammer.

Thor
We watched Captain America before we watch Thor but if you haven't seen either the ones you should watch Thor before you watch Captain America. Thor is a fantastic movie that crates a fascinating fanasty world that draws you in. If you are planing on watching The Avengers this is a must see movie. Tt doesn't set up for The Avengers movie as munch as Iron Man 2 but it is a great movie that anyone can enjoy.

Captain America: The First Avenger
Captain America: The First Avenger last movie leading up to the Avengers and it is also the best. Captain America: The First Avenger is the best comic book movie ever. If you are going to watch The Avengers you have to see Captain America even if you don't like comic book movies.

What is the best one?
This part is about which of The Avengers' hero's movie is the best here is the order.

At Number 1: Captain America: The First Avenger
Captain America: The First Avenger stand out as the best of The Avengers
movies with its great plot, excellent 1940s setting and many other great things makes Captain America : The First Avenger not the best comic book movie ever but also one of the best movies ever.

At Number 2: Thor

At Number 3: Iron Man

At Number 4: Iron Man 2

At Number 5: The Incredible Hulk

  1. I tried that test and it was confusing. The priority bars were messed up. But it looked like my top result was a Dr. Druid (neer heard of him) My highest Avenger was Thor at #8. I'm pobably going to see all the Avengers movies except the Hulk.

  2. I was Captain America! YES!!!!!

Ah, I will try to see both Iron Man movies; than. Especially since the one introduces characters! That sounds pretty important! XD

Considering I've only seen two, I don't really have a order of favorites, except that I prefer the Cap's movie to Thor's, though they're both equally amazing--just in different ways.

    Thanks guys! Great post!

  3. I was Captain America! *fistpump*

    Best movies:
    1.Captain America
    2.Thor
    3.Iron Man 1 & 2
    4.Hulk

I'm so psyched for this movie. I hope the focus is on Cap and Thor, Iron Man has had enough spotlight in my opinion. And I hope there is redemption for Loki.

  5. @Jt/King Valun: Surprisingly that was the best I could find. Dr. Druid is one the lesser known Avengers.

@Jamie: Thanks. High five for Captain America. :)
