After seeing and hearing Michael Fassbender in action as Steve Jobs, I am convinced; he is going to be fantastic! Unlike many biopics, Jobs is a person that many people have seen and heard, therefore playing the part convincingly is far more difficult, and if anyone can, Fassbender will do it. The supporting, on the other hand, are not as convincing but we will have to wait and see. In terms of diction and visuals, it looks par for the course. Hopefully, Danny Boyle will do something to maintain the energy to make the film an entertaining watch. Also, in terms of historical accuracy, the film seems to be hitting many of the notable moments from Jobs' life. What do you think? Please comment below and let me know!

ReplyDeleteI saw the trailer and was intrigued, for Fassbender is one of my favorite actors. However, my immediate reaction after watching it was "Mr. Fassbender wants an Oscar", since biopics are the best way to get one (last 7 out of 10 Best Actor winners have been for playing real-life figures). Maybe he deserves it, but I can't help thinking that people didn't have that in mind when making the movie.
