Avengers: New Comic-Con Age of Ultron Posters and More

At the Comic-Con, Marvel has released more details on Age of Ultron, as well as amazing new posters that combine to create one epic Avengers Assembling collage. Also at the Comic-Con panel, some footage from the film was released, which featured some great humor and a darker tone towards the end. I do not want to spoil what was shown at Comic-Con, because, from what I have read, it shows some possible spoilery content. However, the response from the viewers was most definitely positive, and these new posters show a surprising amount of detail about Age of Ultron as well.
For those not familiar, the robots that the Avengers are fighting in the poster, which is my new desktop background, are Ultron's army of drones. Also, Hawkeye seems to be having a bit of trouble in the bottom right corner.
Of the new posters, Quicksilver's is probably the most intriguing, and not for the reasons you might expect. If you look at the top middle right there is a flying humanoid. Anyone familiar with the comics will quickly notice that the flying humanoid is none other than the Vision. In Age of Ultron, The Vision (picture below) will be played by Paul Bettany, aka Jarvis, which means that at some point in the film, Jarvis will be turned into The Vision from the comics, and the look of the character appears to be almost exactly like the comics.

What do you think of these posters? Please comment below and let me know.

  1. The poster looks pretty darn cool, and the trailer sounds particularly interesting (I read the description as well). I just can't wait till a trailer is released to the public itself, that'll be awesome in it's own right. From all I've heard from the film, I'm thinking it might be just as good as the first Avengers. Awesome post, James!

  2. So, the JARVIS system is housed inside the Vision machine. If Ultron is derived from Stark's tech, then Ultron probably also originated from JARVIS.this may seem confusing, but I bet essentially, having realized where Ultron came from, Stark unleashed a prototype of a tangible robot with JARVIS i.q that has a prime derictive of protecting the Avengers...I got the impression from the end of Iron Man 3 that Stark was ready to give up suits. He was building Vision instead between that film and this one......

    1. Well, I know about the comics, so I think I know all of this will go on for Vision, but I don't want to spoil anything.

  6. What is 'The Vision's weakness? Because I read his big thing is to be able to phase through objects like a ghost, so couldnt he just turn into a ghost if hurt and fly away? And (I know hes a good guy) could he beat just about anyone in a sense? Just put his arm through their body and then make it solid and then they would die? Even Thor and Hulk? I've never read any comics so I always ask people hypotheticals (you seem like you know your stuff!)

  7. The artwork is beautiful, almost worth framing.

As for the movie itself, the only thing that I could think of while looking at the massive poster is Gotterdammerung (The Twilight of the Gods), when all those Norse gods died in fierce battle.

    In short, it looks EPIC!
