Happy Thorsday! (and AOS Full Episode)

Happy Thorsday fellow mortals! Tonight Thor: The Dark World will be releasing in North America and to celebrate Thorsday I have some hilarious Thor and Loki related videos and pictures. Below is Tom Hiddleston asking children, "Who's Better: Thor or Loki?" and we get to see some hilarious results. Also I have new main theme of The Dark World along with some festive Thorsday funny pictures.

This video ads reason to Tom Hiddleston's long list of why he is awesome! He is so hilarious in this video, I wish I knew where I could watch the entire Comedy Central segment.

While I will have to watch the movie before making a final judgement of the soundtrack, I like what I hear, but it is not as good as the first Thor's score. Unfortunately, Patrick Doyle did not return to score the film, however Brian Taylor did do a fantastic job with Iron Man 3's score, making it one of my personal favorites, so I expect something great from the soundtrack as a whole.

It's Thorsday! Let's get hammered by some hilarious pictures!

Because what is more random than Thor riding Nyan Cat

No, Loki riding an evil Nyan Cat is definitely more random

Sorry if you were expecting the post I intended to post today, however this whole dashboard debacle has really screwed my schedule up, plus how could I pass up celebrating Thorsday?

And if you have yet to watch it, here is the full recent episode of Agents of SHIELD

New Thor Posters and Other Marvel News.

Finally, Agents of SHIELD premiere tonight! Will you be watching? After my review of Brave tomorrow, I  will hopefully post a review for Agents of SHIELD Thursday, and I will try and post a link to the full episode once I find it.
Now for some Marvel news, New Thor: The Dark World posters of Jane and Lady Sif have been released, which are at the bottom of the post. I am a little surprised that a Loki poster has yet to be released. On other Thor: the Dark World news, director, Alan Taylor, admits to having problems with some scenes in the film and called in Joss Whedon to help with rewriting the script. While it is always a great idea to bring in the Great Joss Whedon to help with anything, it is not great news that they had problems at all, despite this, I am still majorly excited for the film. Below is a video with the story.

On other Marvel news, the Ant-Man film has been moved up to a July release date opposed to a November release to replace Pirates 5 and Star Wars Ep. 7, which are behind schedule. Hopefully Edgar Wright can get the film finished in time, rushing anything is always a bad idea. For more information on the Ant-Man release date check out the video below where you can also find more information on Star Wars, Pirates 5, Katee Sackhoff as Miss Marvel, which is something to cover in a whole other post.

Avengers News!

Recently there has been a lot of Avengers news that has been released for its many related films including: Thor: The Dark World official synopsis, Ant-Man movie release date, and new member in The Avengers sequel.

First off, Edgar Wright's Ant-Man will be released November 6, 2015. I am actually glad that it will release after The Avengers 2, so he will not be in the next Avengers. Because there should not be too many heroes in one movie, it would possibly lose the balance of screen time. I am still surprised that he will be getting a movie yet I am glad.

Now the character Ms. Marvel (currently under the name "Captain Marvel"), could be introduced in the Guardians of the Galaxy or Captain America: The Winter Soldier considering her SHIELD background. She is probably the best character that could be added to the Avengers because Ms. Marvel is a powerhouse of sorts, not quite as powerful as Thor but could easily hold her own in a fight. Her general powers are:
superhuman strength, endurance, stamina, flight, physical durability, a limited precognitive "sixth sense", and a perfectly amalgamated human/Kree physiology that rendered her resistant to most toxins and poisons, with the added effect of making her body virtually invulnerable and indestructible.
However, I am not a fan of the actresses that are up for the role. There is a video below with more details about and I mostly agree with her opinion for the choice in the role.

The plot synopsis below does not give away any real spoilers but so far I am very much excited to see the film. Hopefully it will live up to the high standards set by the first Thor movie.

Marvel’s Thor: The Dark World continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself. In the aftermath of Marvel’s Thor and Marvel’s The Avengers, Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos...but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. Faced with an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on his most perilous and personal journey yet, one that will reunite him with Jane Foster and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all.
Starring Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan SkarsgĂ„rd, Idris Elba, Christopher Eccleston, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Kat Dennings, Ray Stevenson, Zachary Levi, Tadanobu Asano and Jaimie Alexander with Rene Russo and Anthony Hopkins as Odin, Thor: The Dark World is directed by Alan Taylor, produced by Kevin Feige, from a story by Don Payne (credit not final) and screenplay by Christopher Yost and Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely (credit not final) and is based on Marvel’s classic Super Hero Thor, who first appeared in the comic book “Journey into Mystery “ #83 in August, 1962.
Thor: The Dark World is presented by Marvel Studios. The executive producers are Louis D’Esposito, Alan Fine, Stan Lee, Victoria Alonso, Craig Kyle and Nigel Gostelow. The film releases November 8, 2013, and is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.

Thor 2: The Dark World Set Pictures.

Here are some pictures from the filming of Thor 2: The Dark World. So far it looks very impressive. The Dark World will take place more in Asgard than and more specifically, the relm of the Dark Elves. The second picture is probably a stunt man wearing the Dark Elf make-up, who will be the main villians in the next movie. It looks like there is going to be epic between the Thor and Lady Sif Vs The Dark Elves. I am predicting Thor 2: The Dark World to be the second best movie of 2013 after The Hobbit sequel. What do you think of the pictures? I am pumped for it and I cannot wait.

Breaking News: Marvel Phase 2 Movies Confirmed.

The San Diego Comic-Con has started there has been a lot of news about Marvel's Phase 2 movie plans. The sequels to Captain America and Thor have offically been named "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" and "Thor: The Dark World". Obviously by the name Captain America will be featuring the Winter Soldier, who is also know as Bucky, you can Click Here my previous post about Bucky. Also Thor: The Dark World' villains have been confirmed as Enchantress and Skurge. Also some footage from Iron Man 3 was released at the Comic-Con and it is basically confirmed that Ben Kingsley will play the Mandarin. Ant-Man test footage was released at the Comic-Con as well, but it has not been confirmed if there will be an actual movie. Unfortunately the movie clips and trailers have not been released to YouTube and other media yet. The Guardians of the Galaxy concept art has been released (picture below) and it looks good so far.
Note: I skiped "Epic Film Score and More Sunday" to bring you thus update but I continue with my Batman posts starting tomorrow.

Beyond The Avegners: Thor 2.

Thor 2 has had a lot of problems with its production ranging from re-writing the script to firing multiple directors. There have been many issues with finding a director for the movie but Alan Taylor has finally been selected to direct the movie, he has experience mostly directing TV episodes and most notablly the series "Game of Thrones", which I have not seen nor do I intend to. Unfortunately that means that Kenneth Branagh will not be returning to direct the sequel. Branagh's Shakespearean background aided in the dialogue in the original and I hope that Akan Taylor is able to Thor 2 as great as the original. We do know that the most likely will take place more on Asgard then the previous Thor film. It is not certain if Anthony Hopkins and Kat Dennings will reprise their roles as Odin and Darcy Lewis. Also Danish actor Mads Mikkelsen has been casted in an unknown role, my but my best guess would be that he plays the Dark Elf King (more below). There is a litte more infromation out, but I have advoided some of it due to possible spoilers.

Below are some videos to updates about Thor 2.
