Doctor Strange Trailer Review

Doctor Strange's first trailer is here and it is....... Strange....... Yeah, sorry, had to do it, but seriously, this trailer is unique and weird and fascinating! The film barely looks like a Marvel movie, which is fantastic. It will surely have more humor, but the visual aesthetic and visual effects are insane. Sure, it might look like Inception at points, and that's only because of those two effects scenes. Otherwise, Scott Derrickson is crafting a mysterious film about magic that departs fairly far from the typical superhero romp. Benedict Cumberbatch sounds very different than usual with an American accent, and Tilda Swinton actually shaved her head. The visual style gets me so excited to see what exactly Doctor Strange will be or do. What do you think? Please comment below and let me know.

  2. I didn't particularly like this 'trailer'(I've read it's a teaser but who knows). Didn't really show anything incredibility interesting to me (guess I wanted to see some magic lol). But I will admit I'm still very interesting in Doctor Strange, something about his character and magic intrigues me! His powers and stuff sounds unique enough for me to get on board.

Hopefully the second trailer reveals a bit more or something, either way I'll still be seeing this. (Plus the title, 'Sorcerer Supreme' is cool as hell)

  3. It looks good to me! I definitely like that it doesn't look at all like a Marvel movie. And the trippy, Inception quality looks really neat. :D Cumberbatch does sound strange (ha -- that was unintentional) with an American accent though. That may take some getting used to. :P
