Epic Film Score and More Sunday.

Today on Epic Film Score and More Sunday is, in my opinion, the best violinist in the world, Lindsey Stirling. The violin is one of my favorite instruments to listen and I like many variations of movie themes with the violin. She has made a version of the Lord of the Rings themes and various original music, which I can not stop listening to while writing posts. I first found her music while looking for Skyrim music, that she made an awesome version of. Also Stirling's videos are also pretty cool. Below are some of my favorite of her videos.

This a melody of The Lord of the Rings soundtrack, which is really epic. Although I would not say that this is the best version of The Lord of the Rings but this is my favorite that was not in the movie.

This might be my favorite of her music. I really like the blend of the fast-paced violin and techno  music. I have literally played this on a loop while writing posts, something about it I just really like.

Probably my second favorite one of her original music.

Pure epicness. That is the best way to describe video. Perfectly captures that epic feel of possibly my favorite video game of all-time Skyrim with a slight twist. And the video is one of the best.

Although not my favorite of her music it is still great.

Which one is your favorite of the music? Please sound off in the comments.

Epic Film Score and More Friday.

If you have not seen my Top 25 Comic Book List please Click Here and post a comment.
Here is another Epic Film Score and More Friday. Today I am posting more of the Halo video game soundtracks. I listen to these often, especially when trying to write a post for the blog. I can write much faster when listening to music.
Note: Some of these soundtracks may sound very similar to each other.
I have posted this one before on the other Epic Film Score and More Friday post but I realy like this one. I play it in a loop when writing.

Here are some more epic scores below.

Here is an epic rock remix of the Halo theme.

Here is another fun remix. It is a great song to dance to.

What do you think of these soundtracks?

Epic (Not Quite) Film Score: Fridays.

First off I want to credit to  Jamie at Through Two Blue Eyes for the creator of the original "Epic Film Score Friday" and letting me use the name. Go check out her blog, it is awesome!

Now you might be wondering what I mean by "Not Quite" Film Score. This time thee music is not from a film but from a video game, but it no less epic. Video Games do not get the respect for their often times great story and music but here are some of the best. Please cooment and tell me if you like the music.

Not only is Skyrim one of the greatest games of all time, it has one of the best soundtracks ever. Even compared to many movies. The Elder Scrolls video game series is the best fantasy world since Lord of the Rings, if there was a movie made from Skyrim and it was done right, it would be one of the best fantasy movies ever.

Halo is an epic War Sci-Fi and this soundtrack perfectly fits the epicness of it.

The Legend of Zelda is an fantasy adventure and the soundtrack has a very adventure feel to the soundtrack.

Here is another soundtrack from Legend of Zelda.

Gears of War is another War Sci-Fi shooter but it is very dark, gritty, and violent. The soundtrack is perfect at adding to the overall sense of we are going to make it aginst all odds.

What did you think of the soundtracks? I plan to post this regularly and will post more obscure soundtracks and not the normal epic soundtracks.
