  1. What did you think of Snatch, The Shining, and Brick? (Snatch might be one of my favorite movies, I find it hilarious. And The Shining is definitely one of my favorite horror movies)

    1. Literally watched Snatch yesterday and it was hysterical! I did not expect a comedy, so the dark humor was a brilliant surprise. The cast was great and Brad Pitt had the best gibberish accent. So yeah, Snatch was excellent. One of the best dark comedies I have seen. The sense of humor was great!

Brick was a fun throwback to classic Bogart era noir, which are some of my favorites, so I enjoyed it. It wasn't a masterpiece but definitely good.

As for The Shining, there are parts that I liked. The direction and location was excellent, but I had problems with the attempts at symbolism. But it was interesting watching various videos explaining the meanings and such. Wasn't there a documentary about his works?

I want to review those movies at some point though!

    2. Snatch is seriously amazing haha, Brad Pitt's character is simply hilarious! One of my favorites.

Yeah there are so many videos dissecting The Shining, quite interesting! Kubrick is something else!

You should definitely do reviews of them if you have the time!

  2. thats an awesome list.
Have you ever seen We Need To Talk About Kevin? Because that movie was amazing. It's with Tilda Swinton and Ezra Miller. Its really dark. But I think its amazing. One of my favorite movies by far.
And Chronicle. I would say watch that if you haven't. Dane Dehaan is incredible in it. (sorry I only know really dark/morbid movies oops.)
